Tail and Wing Skids

Help take the strain off and avoid damaging the rudder on your Shock Flyer aircraft with this lightweight and easy to fit Tail Skid.

It can also be fitted as a Wing Skid to keep those wing tips clean and avoid wing tip damage. Quick, professional and simple to fit.

Base Measurements: length 25mm, depth of prongs 10mm.

Wing/Tail Skids with Caps

Instructions For Use - Wing Skids 

1	Remove the contents from the packaging and check you have all the correct parts.
2	Position the Wing Skid onto wing close to the tip.
3	Push the Wing Skid into the foam until the base sits flush with the wing.
4	Place the Cap onto Wing Skid prongs.
5	Carefully push the Cap onto the prongs until it snaps tight against the foam. If you wish, you can simply glue the Wing Skid in place and not use the Caps to hold the Wing Skid.
6	For a neat finish on a 3mm deprone wing,trim any excess material with a sharp knife or side cutters.
7	Finished Wing Skid ready for use.

Instructions For Use - Tail Skids 

1	Remove the contents from the packaging and check you have all the correct parts.
2	Take one Wing Skid and position it near the rear of the fuselage.
3	Push the Tail Skid into the foam. You may wish to secure the skid into position with a suitable foam safe C.A glue.
4	The finished Tail Skid ready for use.
